Bitfinex Securities Launches Tokenized Equity Products in UK with Focus on Alternative Finance

Bitfinex Securities is charting a distinct path in the blockchain-based real-world assets (RWAs) sector with two new tokenized equity products in the UK. While traditional finance giants like BlackRock dominate RWA discussions with tokenized money market funds, Bitfinex is targeting niche alternative finance opportunities.

The first offering, TITAN1, allocates £5 million ($6.8M) into subordinate debt from Castle Community Bank, supporting loans to financially excluded customers in Edinburgh. Investors receive 20% annual dividends paid quarterly, with a 10-year term and 5-year lock-in period.

TITAN2 represents a £100M ($136M) litigation financing vehicle for UK car finance mis-selling claims—a market anticipating billions in compensation payouts. Investors participate via equity-linked notes, receiving 50% of recovered proceeds.
